All of the fundraising we undertake is in aid of the objects of the charity and has always set out to deliver the best blues festival we possibly can, reflected in the success of the festival winning UK Best Blues Festival in 2015, 2016 and 2018 (there wasn’t an award in 2017!).

Raising funds in a number of ways around the festival including camping, programme sales and advertising, sponsorship, the sale of T-shirts, concessions, and other smaller activity, the completely free to enter festival ensures that all the funds are used in aid of delivering the very best live blues music performance available in the UK.

We are proud to be completely self funding, and to be well run enough to ensure that, the you, our attendees have helped us to build a strong excellent event with a small financial cushion in case of future ‘rainy days’.

Our fundraising has also helped us to raise money for not just the best live blues performance but also to run a number of allied educational activities such as our ‘Schools Blues Workshop’ programme which operates across the Midlands, our ‘Instrument Recycling Scheme’ giving young people the chance to own and learn an instrument. We have also supported a number of other blues, live music and Upton upon Severn based activities which support our charitable objects.
